3.1 Registration When you register on the website (opening an account), there will be no personal data transferred to activity gate portal such as name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address and information about booked services, to us. This data will be stored.

4.1 Payment

Article 6. Sharing Information with third parties


6.1 Booking 

When you complete a booking (conclusion of the contract), a part of your data will be transmitted to the booked company so it can properly provide its services. This company can be located abroad. The company shall be under the local legal provisions on privacy protection.

6.2 Authorities and third parties

Under certain circumstances ActivityGate and/or the booked company are obliged to pass on or make certain information available to authorities. Some data is transmitted to Google, as outlined in section 5. In case of a booking and payment thereof, the necessary data for payment processing will be provided to an external payment provider. In case of a sign-up to our email, your data will be hosted by an external email marketing service provider.

ActivityGate reserves the right to pass on information to third parties, authorities, and so on, if it is necessary to ward off claims and demands of all kinds.

Article 7. Use of data

7.1 Improving services 

Data is used for contract settlement, improvement of website functions and its presentation, design of product pages, as well as for analysis, marketing and consulting purposes.

Article 8 . Online Communication

8.1 News service after booking

If you book a service from ActivityGate, you give us permission to send you relevant messages and documents online. The company who provides the service also has the right to send you messages.

Article 9 Delivery/Shipment Policy will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.

Multiple bookings/transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.

Article 10. Refund and cancellation policy

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.

If you cancel the activity, the cancellation policy on the ActivityGate website, email or voucher is authoritative. We advise the customer to carefully read the information.

If there is no cancellation policy stated on the ActivityGate voucher, the following cancellation charges will be levied by the supplier of the services:

  • Cancelation will cost 10% or more, before the beginning of the activity
  • no-show: no refund

Article 11. Changes to the General Terms of Use and Privacy Statement

The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions will be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.

Article 12. Promotions

Activity Gate and its partners may, from time to time, choose to run certain marketing promotions. These promotions may be made available to some or all customers at the discretion of the company.

12.1 Promotion code:

If you have a valid promotion code, you may use this during checkout to avail the necessary offer. The promotion discount, if applicable, will be deducted directly from your final price payable or it will be added as a cashback. Promotions are governed by the terms and conditions of individual offers and Activity Gate reserves the right to cancel any orders that are found to be violating these terms. Customers who repeatedly abuse promotion terms may, at the discretion of the company, find their accounts blocked and they will be unable to reserve on the Activity Gate platform any further.

Activity Gate wallet balance can be purchased directly through account top-up or can be filled by our team as a part of any promotion or adjusting activity balance. If a customer cancels the original reservation they received credits if the customer chooses to. Activity Gate credits automatically expire 12 months after they are credited to your account. No refund is provided for any expired or unused credits.

Article 13.Travel Documents

It is the responsibility of every guest to ensure that he or she carries documents relevant for a particular tour, including a passport or a valid ID card. This is especially important for guests coming from a different country.

No refund can be done in the event of loss or lack of these relevant documents. Similarly, passengers – irrespective of their nationality – are advised to check with their respective country´s consulate here to gain information on entry requisites, before they plan to visit here.

Equally vital is to inquire with your consulate regarding the current visa and health requirements, as they are subject to change without prior notice.
